Health Care Benefits

Health care benefits are provided in accordance with the Hawaii Pre-Paid Health Care Act. Employees are eligible for health care benefits on the first day of the month following the month in which they worked 20 or more hours for 4 consecutive weeks under Alliance Personnel. Furthermore, during qualifications an employee must receive a salary or hourly wage to be eligible.

Workers’ Compensation

The State of Hawaii has workers’ compensation laws to provide benefits to employees for lost wages and medical bills resulting from a work related injury or illness. While workers; compensation covers employees’ lost wages, wages are typically at a lower pay scale than what you earn by working. Alliance Personnel provides all works with workers’ compensation coverage.

At-Will Employment

The State of Hawaii has implemented laws, which allow you or Alliance Personnel to terminate your employment at any time with or without reason. This is considered “at-will” employment and is practiced by all employers throughout the state.
